About the Role

Cox Communications is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Support Engineer II to join our team. As a Cloud Support Engineer II, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support and expertise to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional technical support and troubleshooting services to customers via phone, email, and ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of cloud-based technologies, including virtual desktop infrastructure, Citrix, and RDS.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions to customers.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24/7 support as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles and technical documentation.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field, such as cloud computing, virtualization, or IT support.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Experience with Citrix, AVD, Horizon, and RDS.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, including virtual desktop infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Nerdio Certification.
  • Citrix Certified Associate (CCA).
  • Legacy Windows OS experience, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced Virtualization: VMware ESXi, VMware vSphere, VMware vCenter, VMware vCloud.
  • Experience with N-able Management.
  • Good understanding of parallel technologies.
  • Networking: Fortigate, VPN (Layer 1 and Layer 2), VeloCloud, Firewall.
  • Microsoft services: Outlook/Exchange, Azure AD.
  • MFA/2FA: Duo, Azure MFA, Workspace One, OneLogin.
  • Veeam Backup and Restoration: Veam Self-Service portal, VBR.
Compensation and Benefits

Cox Communications offers a competitive hourly base pay rate of $46.35/hour. The hourly base rate may vary based on factors such as location and candidate qualifications. Additionally, employees are eligible for benefits, including health insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.
