Position Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: San Marcos, CA

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will engage with students to enhance their communication skills while working closely with educators and families to create a nurturing educational atmosphere.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language capabilities.
  • Therapeutic Intervention: Develop and implement tailored therapy programs to address various speech and language challenges.
  • Collaboration: Partner with teachers, parents, and other specialists to monitor and support student development.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress, modify therapy plans as necessary, and communicate updates to families and school personnel.
  • Professional Consultation: Provide guidance and training to educational staff on speech and language development and effective intervention strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Licensure: Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC-SLP or Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential).
  • Experience: Experience in an educational environment is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
