Job SummaryAs a Service Advisor at Verduyn Tarps, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient operation of our repair/service shop and retail store. Your primary responsibilities will include handling customer inquiries, analyzing damages to customer tarp systems, and producing accurate quotes and work orders for repairs. Additionally, you will be responsible for filing invoices, packing slips, and work orders, as well as maintaining store appearance and merchandising standards.   • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Analyze damages to customer tarp systems and produce accurate quotes and work orders for repairs
  • Handle cash transactions and follow established cash handling procedures
  • Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards, including restocking merchandise and ensuring a clean and organized store environment
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding customer concerns and employee matters
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and current promotions to provide informed advice to customers
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of the trucking industry and cargo equipment is a plus
  • Automotive Service/Repair Advisor experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lift, load, and unload merchandise
  • Reliable transportation is required
