Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant I Certified to provide clinical and administrative support to our healthcare team in an outpatient clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine clinical and administrative tasks, including rooming and intake processes, collecting patient data, and reviewing medical records.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient care activities, treatments, and procedures.
  • Collect and process patient specimens, administer medications, and perform tests under the direction of a provider.
  • Ensure exam and treatment rooms are properly stocked and maintained.
  • Provide patient education and instructions on after-visit care and self-care.
  • Assist with patient registration, scheduling, and referrals.
  • Answer clinic phone calls and assist with in-basket tasks.
  • Participate in emergency situations as directed by a healthcare provider or nurse.
Requirements
  • Medical Assistant certification by a recognized organization.
  • Basic Life Support Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions, including effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member with healthcare staff and providers.
  • Proficiency in using a computer to document patient information.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The work schedule is day shift, and the location is in the United States.
