Job Summary:

The Customer Service Engineer serves as the primary point of contact for technical and service-related issues on a wide range of industrial equipment. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment, including printing and packaging machinery, cash recycling products, and robotics.
  • Schedule and perform regular predictive maintenance inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Provide technical support to customers, managing parts inventory, customer service calls, and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Foster positive customer relationships through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and other departments within the company.
  • May require on-call service for emergency customer assistance, responding to calls within established response time goals.

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent with 2-year degree or diploma in electronics, advanced mechanics, or software training, and 1+ years of related industry experience.
  • Strong electronics and mechanical background, with understanding of computer program functionality and software troubleshooting skills.
  • Associate degree preferred.

Work Environment:

This role requires minimal travel in the United States and Canada for training and other requirements. Local travel time may exceed 50% for field work.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to use standard and specialized hand, power, and diagnostic tools and measuring equipment.
  • Requires lifting up to 70 pounds, walking, standing, and working in a controlled office, retail, and manufacturing environment.
