Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team in northern New York State. This is a direct-hire role that offers relocation assistance and a competitive salary.

About the Role

This position involves working 5-10 hour shifts with 2 days off per week, allowing for a great work-life balance. You will be based in a safe and family-friendly small-town environment with easy access to major urban centers such as Syracuse, Burlington (VT), Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Running cable, wire, and communication systems.
  • Mounting J-boxes, control boxes, and switch boxes for mechanical installation.
  • Reading and following electrical prints.
  • Troubleshooting circuits, motors, fans, controllers, VFDs, transformers, and high-voltage splices.
  • Completing all terminations and splicing tasks.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial electrical work.
  • The ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions to perform duties safely and efficiently.
  • Able to work without posing a direct threat to health and safety due to task sensitivity.
  • Willingness to relocate to the area for this role.
