- Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, promoting a positive patient experience.
- Meet Regulatory Requirements: Comply with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, and the Nurse Practice Act, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
- Education and Licensure: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
- Certifications and Experience: Current CPR certification and demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
- Additional Requirements: Meet state-specific requirements, including one year of pediatrics experience in South Carolina, one year of experience working under a current nursing license in California, or one year of experience working as a licensed nurse in Louisiana.
- Recent Experience: Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
- Home Health Experience: Previous experience in home health care.
- Physical Abilities: Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English, travel, lift 50 pounds, and reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
- Environmental Factors: Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments, including possible exposure to allergens and infectious diseases.
