About the Role:

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Enova International, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability of our consumer business from a technology and operational standpoint. Your expertise will drive the rapid improvement and efficiency of our platform by implementing automated tools, evaluating processes, and troubleshooting complex problems.

You will collaborate with IT, Software Engineering, and product teams to resolve operational issues and work on building creative solutions for our teams. Applying DevOps principles, you will manage the platform and applications, driving functionality and adoption through continuous improvement, simplification, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain automated tools to enhance platform reliability and efficiency
  • Participate in the team's on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 support
  • Advise on effective operational strategies to drive business outcomes

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Support
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Ruby, Python, Java, or Go
  • Strong SQL skills, capable of writing efficient and accurate queries
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, including root cause analysis
  • Ability to read, understand, and collaborate on software application code
  • Experience with monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement practices to drive platform reliability and efficiency
