Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Internal Services

We are looking for a highly technical Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Internal Services team at Adyen. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for the stability and reliability of our internal services.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of relevant work experience and a solid understanding of the Linux operating system and its internals. You will be familiar with SRE practices and methodologies, including defining SLO's, metrics, change management processes, and incident response.

Key responsibilities will include designing and implementing solutions that improve the reliability and performance of our on-premise hosted systems and services, working on the automation and scalability of existing components of our services, and being involved in key architectural decisions that improve the performance of our internal services globally.

Additionally, you will troubleshoot and investigate complex technical issues, being involved from discovery to post-mortem. You will also have experience managing infrastructure in on-premise environments, solid experience with Kubernetes and Prometheus, and experience with building, operating, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems spanning multiple data centers across the globe.
