Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sign Language Interpreting Services Manager to join our team at People Inc. This role is responsible for ensuring that all sign language interpreting requests are fulfilled and meet the required standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sign language interpreting services and excellent communication skills.

About the Job

The Sign Language Interpreting Services Manager will be responsible for managing daily assignments, creating and maintaining detailed profiles for deaf clients, customers, and interpreters. They will also provide language access information to customers and create monthly department reports and utilization reports.

Other key responsibilities include organizing an exclusive assignment list for monthly assignments, overseeing the assignment of interpreters according to their certifications and skill level, and distributing jobs fairly amongst all interpreters.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, internet software, project management software, database software, and familiarity with BoostLingo software. They will also have excellent time management skills, verbal and written communication skills, and professionalism.
