Key Responsibilities- Interpret EKG rhythms and arrhythmias, reporting changes to nursing staff as needed.
- Maintain telemetry supplies and record patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
- Perform duties with a full understanding of related age-specific factors and follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
- Orient and mentor new staff members to ensure a smooth transition and high-quality patient care.
- Completion of Basic EKG/Arrhythmia course with demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and customer service skills, including effective listening.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- High School Graduate/GED required.
