Mechanical Engineering Specialist

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineering Specialist to design and develop innovative lift products for Harmar Mobility, LLC. This role involves conceptualizing new designs, following through to completion, and ensuring superior mobility products. Your experience in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, will be essential in creating detailed technical drawings and managing costs.

Responsibilities

You will work on special projects assigned by the Engineering Manager, which may include evaluating competitive products, new processes, and technologies. Additionally, you will provide support to our Technical Service Team to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with existing products.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering required from an ABET accredited University.
  • Design and development experience in mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
  • CAD experience with SolidWorks required.
  • Understanding and experience in product design and development such as Design for Quality (DFQ), Design for Test (DFT), Design for Manufacturability (DFM), DFMEA/PFMEA, FEA, GD&T, Risk Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis.
