Customer Service Specialist Job Description

At Concordance Healthcare Solutions, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll play a vital role in providing top-notch support to our commercial customers, hospitals, and healthcare partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and timely product information, price quotes, and order processing to customers.
  • Act as a liaison between operations and customers to resolve order-related issues.
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure seamless communication on stocking levels, item usage, and product changes.
  • Analyze hospital backorder reports to identify shortages and implement solutions.
  • Initiate actions to respond to customer service requests, maintain order/customer information files, and communicate changes to relevant personnel.
  • Resolve product or service problems, including missed shipment resolution and backorder fulfillment.
  • Recommend potential substitutions by working with outside sales personnel, manufacturer sales representatives, and customer service teams.
  • Participate in conference calls and site visits as needed.
  • Work effectively with internal departments, outside sales personnel, and customers.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of customer service standards and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or 2 years' experience in customer service, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and Word, and experience with AS 400 a plus.
  • Typing and data entry skills required.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and customer service orientation.
  • Excellent communication skills and forward-thinking approach.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Related work experience and medical product knowledge beneficial.
  • Reliability and ability to function independently.
