Elwyn Adult Behavioral Health Services is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Master's Level Clinician to join our ACT team in Georgetown, DE. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing life-changing support to individuals living with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized action plans to empower individuals to manage their symptoms and improve their well-being.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific needs of each client, utilizing a person-centered approach that fosters hope, empowerment, and self-management skills.
- Provide immediate support and guidance during moments of crisis, ensuring client safety and de-escalation.
- Develop strong therapeutic relationships with clients built on trust, empathy, and respect.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, share your expertise through clinical supervision (if applicable), and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of two years of experience working with individuals receiving behavioral health services, with a focus on SPMI populations preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive understanding of evidence-based interventions like CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
- In-depth knowledge of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) of Mental Disorders and its clinical application.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to ethical practice and client-centered care.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to provide transportation as needed.
