KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Accounting Manager will oversee and coordinate client projects and assignments, ensuring timely completion of tasks while mentoring and guiding team members to meet both client and personal development goals. This role will involve:
- Taking primary responsibility for assigned client accounts
- Monitoring workflow and deadlines for clients
- Supervising, training, and reviewing the work of supervisors, in-charge accountants, staff accountants, and accounting assistants
- Exhibiting strong skills and experience in relevant technical areas
- Executing engagements within budgeted timeframes and discussing any overruns with the client partner or principal
- Collaborating effectively with team members to complete project components
- Building professional relationships at the client level
- Documenting work thoroughly
- Implementing effective solutions for clients
- Identifying task-related issues and progress in an organized manner
- Making timely and informed decisions on complex matters
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least 6 years of experience in public accounting preferred
- Current CPA license in good standing
SUPERVISORY ROLE:
- Overseeing Supervisors, In-Charge Accountants, Staff Accountants, and Accounting Assistants
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is based in a standard office setting, utilizing common office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, scanners, and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This role is primarily sedentary, with occasional filing that may require lifting files, opening cabinets, and bending or standing as necessary.
