We seek a visionary leader to serve as the Executive Director of the Cincinnati Campus Research Center at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR). This is an exceptional opportunity to pioneer a new chapter in the institution's history, assessing, developing, and representing a unified campus structure and program.

About the Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to leverage the institution's resources, convening scholars, students, and Jewish leaders who will advance scholarship and generate new ideas that energize American Judaism. As the inaugural Executive Director, you will be responsible for building upon HUC-JIR's world-renowned legacy, exploring partnership opportunities, and strengthening ties with the Cincinnati community region.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assess existing units and programs to help HUC-JIR reach its new ambitions as a leading research center
  • Revitalize and amplify the Cincinnati campus and its unparalleled institutions of Jewish research and culture
  • Forge new and impactful partnerships with community and academic stakeholders
  • Shepherd the HUC and surrounding community through a time of evolution
Key Priorities

The successful candidate will address several key priorities, including:

  • Elevating the campus' archives and centers
  • Exploring partnership opportunities to develop robust programs
  • Strengthening ties with the Cincinnati community region
