At AbsoluteCare, we're seeking a seasoned Medical Director to lead our ambulatory care teams in delivering exceptional patient outcomes. With a focus on population health and social determinants of health, this role is instrumental in transforming the lives of our members.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic physician leader who can bring clinical acumen, strong leadership skills, and collaboration to our fast-growing organization. As a Medical Director, you'll work closely with National Directors across disciplines to implement process improvements, enhance standards of care, and surpass professional practice guidelines.
Responsibilities- Clinical Leadership: Lead our medical center to deliver superb medical care using a comprehensive 'one-stop-shop' model in a NCQA-certified Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) environment.
- Collaboration and Partnerships: Build relationships with health plan medical directors, local hospitals, specialists, and other organizations to meet contractual quality metric goals and reduce care fragmentation.
- Quality Initiatives: Manage teams to track and meet quality metric goals, utilizing technology and electronic medical records to increase efficiency and quality.
- Leadership and Team Management: Work in a dyad model with the Practice Administrator to manage the Medical Staff and AbsoluteCare team members.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with National Directors to implement process improvements, enhance standards of care, and surpass discipline-specific professional practice guidelines.
- Medical Guidance: Provide guidance to the Medical Staff, reviewing current practices and implementing best evidence-based practices.
- Evaluation and Quality Improvement: Evaluate medical operations to ensure compliance and contractual obligations, continuously improving patient outcomes.
