We are seeking a skilled RN Progressive Care Specialist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a key member of our medical surgical unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions, utilizing the framework of the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans, incorporating patient and family input and goals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Document patient education and learning in the health record, ensuring accurate and timely communication with healthcare teams.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least one year of acute care experience or two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role
