Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic educational setting. As an SLP, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Your primary goal will be to support students' academic success and social development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students' communication needs within the classroom environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • A valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • An ability to effectively engage with students, parents, and school staff.
