Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Communication Specialist to join our team in Douglas, Wyoming. This role will involve assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of students' communication skills to identify areas of need.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, adapting to their unique needs and learning styles.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, making data-driven decisions to inform instruction.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings to promote collaborative problem-solving.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • A valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations is essential.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
