Role Summary: Soliant Health is in search of a committed Speech Language Pathologist to become a vital part of our team in the Fort Worth area. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders throughout various stages of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing capabilities.
  • Create tailored treatment plans that reflect assessment results and the objectives of the patient.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing speech and language proficiency, alongside improving swallowing functions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals, educators, and other healthcare providers, to guarantee cohesive and comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding communication techniques, swallowing strategies, and home exercise regimens.
  • Keep precise and current records of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Texas state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience with the implementation and management of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
