Talent Wave Associates is a leading provider of IT services, committed to enhancing National Security Division (NSD) operations. We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

This pivotal role involves administering, supporting, and maintaining our network capabilities, including IPS, Firewall, and COMSEC. You will work closely with our team to strengthen network security and ensure the smooth integration of new technologies and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Tier II and Tier III support for intrusion protection systems, COMSEC, and network equipment.
  • Develop and implement robust information security strategies.
  • Evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of potential solutions.
  • Design and maintain optimized firewall and IPS rule structures.
  • Monitor and enhance firewall and IPS health, recommending improvements.
  • Develop and update documentation for firewall/IPS procedures.
  • Research and implement cutting-edge network security technologies.
  • Provide expert guidance to network engineers and support complex network implementations.
  • Ensure timely integration of COMSEC requirements and manage COMSEC inventory.
  • Prepare and execute test plans, documenting network changes.
  • Conduct detailed network and COMSEC performance studies.
  • Advise on technology matters and provide training and support to team members.
  • Maintain network infrastructure in compliance with STIG guidelines.

Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 per year

Security Clearance: An active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a DOJ SCI is required.
