About the Role

Nortek Group is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team in Boston, MA. As an Inside Sales & Support Specialist, you will play a key role in expanding our go-to-market business model in the US & Canada.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in inside sales or the subsea market, with a strong interest in ocean science, subsea navigation, and maritime operations. You will be responsible for qualifying leads, responding to customer inquiries, and providing quotes and processing customer orders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Sales Engineers by handling incoming sales leads and disseminating by market or region
  • Planning and executing tradeshow, conference, and demonstration activities
  • Prospecting for leads and qualifying new business
  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing quotes and processing customer orders

Requirements:

  • Prior inside sales experience or work experience in the subsea market
  • Experience interacting with scientists, engineers, underwater vehicle manufacturers, or sales/marketing executives
  • An interest in markets such as oceanography, coastal engineering, marine science, fisheries, subsea vehicles, offshore energy, or hydraulic laboratories
