Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, maintaining a smooth flow at the entrance and throughout the dining area.
  • Ensure guests feel at ease while waiting; guide them to the bar or their designated table.
  • Manage the check-in process for outerwear and personal belongings of guests.
  • Participate in pre-service and closing tasks, including printing menus and updating shift summaries.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in various situations, confidently addressing guest inquiries.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of menu items and their ingredients.
  • Handle phone inquiries regarding reservations, availability, and restaurant services.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Estiatorio Milos, embodying the company's core values in all interactions.
  • Maintain adequate supplies of stationery in the reception area at all times.
  • Engage with guests as they depart to ensure a memorable dining experience.
Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in a high-end dining environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
  • Capable of multitasking and receptive to feedback and guidance.
  • Familiarity with POS and reservation systems is a plus.

Compensation: Hourly wage range: $22-$25/hour
