Job Summary

We're seeking a creative, motivated, and dedicated teammate to join our team as a Shredder Maintenance Supervisor. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our shredding equipment, as well as leading a team of technicians to maintain and repair our industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Lead a team of technicians to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to our shredding equipment.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental policies and practices, and serve as a role model for safety excellence.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with teammates and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field, or a minimum of 3 years supervision experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in operations or manufacturing with heavy equipment, and a proven record of ensuring safety is the top priority.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to plan, manage, and prioritize work.
  • Skilled and experienced with personal computers, software, spreadsheets, and databases.
