We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide specialized therapy services to students with physical disabilities or challenges in a school setting. As a School Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment that enables all students to access their education and participate fully in school activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' physical abilities, motor skills, and functional levels. Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to gather comprehensive information for individualized treatment planning.
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and educational goals. Utilize therapeutic exercises, activities, and modalities to improve students' strength, range of motion, coordination, and mobility.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Provide direct physical therapy services to students either individually or in groups, within the school setting. Instruct and guide students in therapeutic exercises and activities to improve their functional abilities and independence.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with certification in school-based physical therapy (if required by state).
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in a clinical or educational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of developmental disabilities, orthopedic conditions, and therapeutic interventions appropriate for school-aged children.
