Position Overview

Tobin and Company CPA's PC is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and finance, with responsibilities that encompass:

  • General Accounting and Auditing: Overseeing daily financial transactions and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Tax Preparation: Preparing and filing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
  • Bookkeeping: Maintaining accurate financial records and managing accounts payable and receivable.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in public accounting is required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S Corporations is advantageous.
  • Audit experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage Peachtree, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) is preferred.
  • CPA certification or being a CPA candidate is a plus.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $60,000 - $100,000 annually, with additional merit-based bonuses available.
