As a key member of the Mastercard finance team, the Services Controller plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial statements for the Services business unit. This involves partnering with global and regional finance teams, regional controllership, and the global business shared service organization (GBSC) to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

The Services Controller will possess strong leadership skills to engage teams and optimize processes, as well as technical expertise to establish and enhance internal controls. Key responsibilities include advising on accounting matters, managing compliance activities, and preparing management reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to join Mastercard's finance team and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business unit finance partners to advise on accounting matters
  • Manage compliance activities, including Mastercard policies and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)
  • Prepare management reporting, including variance analysis and technical position memos
  • Influence change through strong partnerships with internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline
  • Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant required
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in financial control design and implementation
