About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Software Development Engineer to join our team at HP. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for driving the development of innovative solutions to complex technical problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and develop the architecture of our embedded systems software.
  • Enable clarity and compliance related to technical and non-functional requirements.
  • Design frameworks and components to deliver effective solutions across the print ecosystem.
  • Provide technical direction and review with development teams.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and have a vision for technology.
  • Communicate technical strategies and architectures to all levels of the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a combination of EE and CS.
  • Typically 10-15 years of experience.
  • Expertise with development languages such as C and C++.
  • Extensive experience with operating system fundamentals and multi-core CPU embedded development.
  • Understanding of firmware development tools and infrastructure.
  • Understanding of firmware and hardware design principles.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum based development team.
  • Excellent technical leadership and proven experience with technical writing and verbal communication skills.
