We are seeking a skilled Freight Broker to join our team at Nolan Transportation Group. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for identifying freight transport opportunities and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize independent judgment to determine which shippers have freight transport opportunities and which lanes to quote.
- Establish and maintain relationships with shippers, providing up-to-date information and quotes.
- Coordinate with Operations and other departments to track loads and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with coworkers in a team-oriented environment to achieve company goals.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, government regulations, and company activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret industry documents and reports.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related computer programs.
This is a full-time benefits-eligible position, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Local travel is required, with occasional out-of-state travel for training and conferences.
