Job Summary

Berlin Packaging LLC is seeking a highly skilled Forklift Operator II to support warehouse operations and production. This role involves transferring, storing, rotating, picking, and shipping merchandise, both physically and through the company ERP system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment in a safe and professional manner.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new warehouse employees.
  • Organize and pick orders based on requested ship dates, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage levels within the warehouse.
  • Use the company ERP system to replenish, restock, and rotate finished items, components, and packing materials.
  • Prepare billing processes and paperwork for warehouse and drop ship orders.
  • Transfer supplies between departments to meet production or shipping demands.
  • Properly store and label materials and finished products.
  • Notify leadership of non-compliant warehouse conditions.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized to cGMP standards.
  • Comply with all ISO standards.
  • Support company and branch metrics.
  • Fulfill the employee portion of the Berlin Values.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of previous warehouse and forklift operator experience.
  • Must pass the Company Forklift Certification program.
  • Able to operate all powered industrial trucks in the warehouse while modeling safe work practices.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Able to train new hires and others on processes.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to learn.
  • Positive attitude and contributes to a positive team culture.
  • Self-motivated; reliable, with strong initiative and results orientation.
Working Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift/move boxes weighing up to 20lbs and occasionally lift/move boxes and/or pallets up to 45lbs through the warehouse.
