Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a PCT, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics. If you are a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Measure and record patient statistics, including vital signs and laboratory results
  • Set up and operate hemodialysis machines
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
