Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team at Early To Rise. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, making eye contact, smiling, and maintaining proper posture.
  • Beverage Preparation: Take orders and prepare any beverage off the menu, maintaining an extensive knowledge of the food menu to assist guests with inquiries or suggestions.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions according to restaurant standards, following all cash handling and credit policies and procedures.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean bar area, keep an inventory of needed supplies, and restock as necessary.
  • Teamwork: Work as a member of the restaurant team, interact with service crew in a positive manner, and assist others whenever needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and service the guest's needs before requests are made, and interact with people beyond giving and receiving instructions to resolve guest complaints.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the menu and beverage list, and the ability to communicate clear suggestions to guests.
  • Physical Abilities: Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time, lift up to 25lbs, and perform other physical tasks as necessary.
Working Conditions

This position requires regular attendance, flexibility to work varying schedules, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The individual must be able to perform all essential job functions accurately and safely, and maintain a high level of hygiene and sanitation standards.
