Role Overview: The ideal candidate for the Engineering Technician position will possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. This role involves supporting various engineering functions and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly calibrations on furnace controllers and perform Temperature Uniformity Surveys.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of process data from vacuum brazing, heat treating, and aging furnaces.
- Collaborate with engineers to draft procedures and documentation.
- Construct and assemble fixtures for various processes, including core stacking and pressure testing.
- Fabricate specialized tooling as necessary.
- Provide operational support to manufacturing facilities.
Educational Qualifications:
High School diploma or an Associate's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.
General Skills Required:
- Proficient in using standard hand tools and measurement instruments.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Capable of assembling process fixtures.
- Familiarity with personal computers, including MS Word and Excel, as well as data logging applications.
Laboratory Equipment Maintenance:
- Calibrate temperature controllers and thermocouples.
- Advise on the acquisition or replacement of instrumentation as needed.
Experience Requirement: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation assistance.
Travel Requirements: No travel is expected for this role.
Local Candidates Preferred: Yes
