About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Event Security Specialist to join our team at ASM Global. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for employees, clients, and patrons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional guest services and ensure a high level of care for employees, clients, and patrons.
  • Carry out emergency, safety, and security programs and procedures when necessary, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
  • Perform regular foot and vehicle patrols of the property, inspecting and reporting on facility compliance with safety and security procedures.
  • Investigate and report incidents, including damage or injury to the facility or employees, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure POD compliance on patrols and provide assignments and permitting for temporary parking as directed.
  • Issue facility ID badges as directed and work extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Working Conditions:

The position requires walking and climbing stairs within the facility and grounds. You will primarily work inside and outside the facility, with some exposure to adverse weather and working conditions. You may be exposed to physical confrontations, and shift work as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Absence of felony or violent crime convictions and ability to pass a criminal background check.
