Job Summary

This is a critical leadership role that requires a seasoned professional to provide strategic direction and oversight to a team of approximately 200 Production Control personnel across the Palmdale site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall Production Control portfolio for all ADP site programs in Palmdale, which involves planning, execution, and management support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integration of BTP release plan elements and build schedules, identifying disconnects and solutions.
  • Monitoring performance to plan, including on-time releases, starts, and completions.
  • Overseeing the creation and implementation of recovery schedules.
  • Ensuring maintenance and reporting of schedules, management of MRP/SAP planning, Shop Floor Control, Constraint Management, and establishing priorities for engineering, supply chain, etc., to support the Build Team.
  • Performing the role of Fabrication Integrator across the Palmdale Site, Aeronautics, and other LM Business Units to drive collaboration and performance for customers.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in complex production or related environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Experience with Warehouse Operations.
  • Experience with SAP in both fabrication and assembly environments.
  • Experience in demand planning and demand management.
  • Demonstrated success in manufacturing execution in difficult environments.
  • Demonstrated technical and strategic leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10 years of proven experience in complex production or related environments.
  • Strong presence, communications, and ability to address complex matters/solutions with senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage, coach, train, and motivate teams in technical and leadership development.
  • Experience with Production/Production Control Processes and Procedures.
  • Experience with Cost, Schedule, and Technical Data.
  • Inventory Management Experience.
