UCHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Progressive Care Unit team. As a RN, you will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. You will prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice, while modeling proficiency through precepting new team members. You will also contribute to a safe and quality environment at the point of care.
Responsibilities:
Direct care includes Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) level of care in a technically complex environment. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes, and contribute to the development of evidence-based care models. You will also participate in the UCHealth Fellowship program, and have opportunities for professional growth and development.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). 6 months of ICU or PCU (Progressive Care Unit) nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program. BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
