Job Overview:
As an integral part of the Facilities and Plant Engineering (F&PE) team, the chosen candidate will oversee a wide array of Facilities Engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage corporate capital, overhead, and government-funded project timelines and budgets using Maximo.
2. Supervise the design and provide assistance for construction efforts utilizing CAD software design tools (MicroStation, Project Wise).
3. Collaborate with various engineering disciplines, internal stakeholders, and A&E firms to ensure projects are cost-efficient, within budget, and adhere to the specified design criteria and timelines.
4. Formulate Statements of Work (SOWs), cost assessments, and financial plans.
5. Create and uphold precise project timelines.
6. Generate reports, drawings, and specifications for a diverse range of projects.
7. Make independent, sound recommendations and design development choices.
8. Conduct technical reviews for design, bidding, permitting packages, and construction documentation.
9. Identify potential risks and propose mitigating strategies.
10. Manage alterations in project scope.
11. Analyze capacity and demand of utility systems and plan for growth as necessary.
12. Provide technical assistance to the Facilities and Maintenance division, including documenting a preventative maintenance strategy and spare parts suggestions.

Collaboration:
Coordinate with internal stakeholders across various departments to ensure funding requests for Capital, Direct, Overhead, or Air Force Rent Credit are submitted and approved in line with the Long Range Plan (LRP) and other program objectives.

Risk Management:
Identify project or program risks and implement actions to mitigate impacts on existing strategic office/lab plans.

Leadership:
Capable of leading or supporting various studies for current or emerging programs or projects.
Deliver presentations to various stakeholders and project teams as needed.
Travel as necessary to supplier sites for Preliminary Design Review and Factory Acceptance Testing.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in Facilities Engineering
- Proficiency with Design Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, REVIT2, etc.)

Desired Skills:
- Facilities Engineering experience
- Knowledge of Integrated Master Scheduling
- Experience in a production environment
- Familiarity with Computerized Numerically Control (CNC) or Robotic installation
- Experience in Machine Tool Repair or Alignment
- Knowledge of Machinery Acceptance Testing

Security Clearance:
This position requires a government security clearance; applicants must be U.S. citizens for consideration.

Work Arrangement:
This role allows for part-time remote work. The selected candidate will split their work schedule between remote and on-site at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Specific weekly schedules will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports various alternate work schedules, providing additional flexibility to employees. Options include standard 40-hour weeks or condensed schedules that offer extra time away from the office, in addition to paid time off benefits.

Compensation:
The annual base salary range for this position varies based on location and market considerations. Lockheed Martin evaluates factors such as position scope, candidate experience, education, and skills when extending offers.
