Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the educational journey of students by providing high-quality speech and language services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop Personalized Treatment Plans: Create and execute personalized treatment plans based on individual student requirements to ensure optimal progress.
  • Lead Interactive Therapy Sessions: Lead interactive therapy sessions using proven methodologies to engage students and promote language development.
  • Collaborate with Educational Teams: Collaborate with educators, parents, and peers to enhance student development and ensure a cohesive approach to education.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain detailed and orderly records of provided services to ensure accountability and transparency.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active SLP License in Illinois or Eligibility for Licensure: Hold an active SLP license in Illinois or be eligible for licensure in the state.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA: Preferably hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with educational teams and students.
  • Efficient Team Player with Strong Collaborative Skills: Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently as part of a team and possess strong collaborative skills to ensure a cohesive approach to education.
  • Prior Experience with Pediatric Populations: Possess prior experience working with pediatric populations, which is advantageous but not required.
