Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Worker to join our team. As a Mental Health Worker, you will assist licensed nursing staff in providing patient care, including activities of daily living, and support the unit functions to maintain a safe and clean environment. You will also communicate pertinent patient information to the supervising RN and perform some clerical duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed nursing staff in providing patient care, including activities of daily living

Requirements
  • Current and valid license as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) issued by the State (if a CNA)
  • Minimum of one year experience working as a Mental Health Worker in a hospital setting (if not a CNA)
  • Current BLS upon hire and maintain current
  • One (1) year prior mental health experience preferred
  • Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology preferred
