We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Sumner, WA.

Job Summary:

As an SLPA, you will provide crucial speech and language services to students in various grades, working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessments: Assist with detailed speech and language assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Therapy Plans: Contribute to the development and execution of therapy plans, ensuring students receive targeted support to improve their communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers and parents to ensure seamless communication and coordination of therapy services.
  • Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and track student progress to inform future therapy plans.
  • Therapy Sessions: Provide one-on-one or small group therapy sessions under the supervision of an SLP, using evidence-based practices to promote student growth.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Valid WA certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant.
  • Bilingual: Required.
  • Experience: Experience working with various grade levels preferred, or a willingness to gain experience.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to improving students' communication skills.
