Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work on a night shift and be responsible for providing effective daily operation of all departmental services and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compounding, labeling, and dispensing of medication and IV admixtures
  • Supervising pharmacy technicians in all work areas
  • Providing clinical services to enhance medication administration and therapeutic outcomes
  • Providing clinical drug information to meet the needs of the healthcare staff
  • Participation in appropriate committees
  • Providing support for department education including residents, interns, and students
  • Variable staff rotation to meet department needs, including evenings and weekends
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
  • Current registered pharmacist in the state of Florida, board certification
  • Good interpersonal communication with physicians, nurses, etc
  • Work as a team player
  • Epic experience - certifications a huge plus
