Accepting Candidates

Must be able to start no later than August 18th . Will need two weeks at onsite PRIOR to EPIC go-live on 8/31. Earlier starts are fine if able

Background checks take up to 30 days so we need offers accepted by July 18th at the latest.

12 weeks minimumthrough November 9th, 2024.

Education

  • Must have a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Must be a current registered pharmacist in the state of Florida, board certification.
  • Good interpersonal communication with physicians, nurses, etc
  • Work as a team player
  • MUST HAVE Epic experience - certifications a huge plus

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Manager of Pharmacy, performs all duties necessary to provide effective daily operation of all departmental services and programs. This includes compounding, labeling and dispensing of medication and IV admixtures. Supervises pharmacy technicians in all work areas.

Provide clinical services to enhance medication administration and therapeutic outcomes

Provide clinical drug information to meet the needs of the healthcare staff

Participation in appropriate committees

Provide support for department education including residents, interns, and students

Require up to 25% variable staff rotation to meet department needs including evenings and weekends
