Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Manage tasks and projects according to approved scopes of work, and deliver quality reports on schedule and within budget.
- Client and Regulator Interaction: Interact and interface with clients and environmental regulators to ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSSE): Participate in HSSE Policies, Procedures, Standards, and Guidelines in the execution of all work.
- Team Leadership: Provide supervision, training, technical direction, and mentoring to more junior staff.
- Travel: Travel up to 20% of the time for local and regional projects.
- Experience: Experience with successful Phase I archaeological surveys, Phase II testing, and/or data recovery.
- Record Searches: Conduct or request records searches at CHRIS Information Centers, federal, state, and tribal agencies as needed.
- Construction Monitoring: Conduct construction monitoring and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Report Preparation: Contribute to the preparation of archaeological reports.
- Client and Stakeholder Interaction: Represent Stantec in interactions with clients, agency personnel, and Native American tribal members.
- GIS and Data Management: Coordinate with GIS staff, PIs, or project managers to collect and manage field data and forms.
- Permitting: Assist with permitting applications (Organic Act, ARPA, USFS, BoR, BLM FWAs, state, tribal).
- HSSE: Participate in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Policies, Procedures, Standards, and Guidelines in the execution of all work.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2-4 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Driving Record: Good driving record and valid driver's license required.

Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).
Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
