Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates project information flow and ensures accurate data exchange between stakeholders.
  • Establishes and maintains office organization, promoting efficiency and productivity.
  • Reviews and tracks RFIs and submittals at Owner and Contractor level, ensuring timely resolution and compliance.
  • Analyzes construction plans and specifications to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develops and implements project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Communicates effectively with administrative staff, field crews, and clients, providing clear and concise information on project status and progress.
  • Ensures all plans, specs, and submittals are accurate and up-to-date, with matching information across all stakeholders.
  • Studies job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods and materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Assists Construction Managers with change management, issue letters, PCO, COR, and PCCO, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Creates and tracks RFIs, updating plans and details for the field, ensuring accurate and timely information exchange.
  • Generates detailed and conceptual cost estimates and change orders, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Tracks all change orders via delay, issue, and change order logs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assists Construction Managers with field management, ensuring effective communication and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Updates project schedule in conjunction with the Construction Manager and General Contractors, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Monitors General Contractor and Subcontractor performance, verifying quality of work and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Performs value engineering and practicality of plans, ensuring optimal project outcomes and cost savings.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications, with ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Business and management principles, including planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Ability to interpret oral and written instructions and directions from supervising Superintendent/PM.
  • Proficient in MSWord, Excel, Outlook, CM software, Microsoft project, Procore, Bluebeam, etc.
  • Assist, plan and/or create accurate construction estimates and schedules.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with culturally and ethnically diverse workforce, architects, owners, etc. Foster and develop relationships.
  • Analyze problems, evaluate alternatives, and develop and implement sound courses of action that minimize risk to the company.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, change priorities, and handle stress to meet deadlines.
  • Superior oral and writing presentation skills.
  • Represent the company and its interests in a professional and conscientious manner.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Physically be able to climb, walk, stand, stoop, and crouch for extended period time.
