Aviation Facilities Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Facilities Administrator to join our team at Rhode Island Airport Corporation. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the facilities and operations of our five general aviation airports.
Job DescriptionThe Aviation Facilities Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and repairs of the GA airports, including pavement, grounds, and facilities. This role involves coordinating construction activities, minimizing disruption to airport operations, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of methods of repair and maintenance activities, materials, and equipment used in maintenance of a General Aviation airport. A bachelor's degree in aviation or business management, with a minimum of three years of supervisory experience in airport operations, is required.
Responsibilities:- Ensure proper maintenance and repairs of the GA airports
- Coordinate construction activities to minimize disruption to airport operations
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
- Supervise the Airfield Maintenance Technician II
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have excellent problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented and organized, and possess strong oral and written communication skills. The ability to follow highly complex directions and read blueprints, plans, and specifications is also essential.
