Program Details:The Internal Traveler Program offers a unique chance for nurses to explore various clinical opportunities at UVA Health. This program includes:
- Non-benefitted roles
- Competitive compensation aligned with other traveler positions; flat hourly rate without differentials or incentive pay
- A range of clinical practice opportunities available in 13-week assignments, with the possibility of renewal for up to 39 weeks
- A one-time incentive of $2,500.00 upon completion of the first 13-week assignment

Compensation Range:- Hourly minimum requirements:
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required within five years of hire.
Experience: A minimum of one year of RN experience is necessary.
Licensure: Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia and possess American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification.
Physical Requirements:This role involves prolonged standing, frequent bending, and the ability to lift, push, or pull over 100 lbs. Candidates should have proficient communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to write legibly. Exposure to various environmental factors, including chemicals and infectious materials, may occur.
