Job Title: Roofing System Installer and Repairer

We are seeking an experienced Roofing System Installer and Repairer to join our team at UCP-Personnel Services. As a Roofing System Installer and Repairer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining flat roofs using a variety of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting roofs for damage and determining the best course of action for repair or replacement.
  • Measuring roofs to determine materials needed for repairs or replacement.
  • Installing and repairing various types of flat roofing materials, including EPDM, TPO, PVC, and modified bitumen.
  • Ensuring all safety protocols are followed on job sites, including the use of harnesses and other personal protective equipment.
  • Communicating with clients to provide updates on the progress of jobs and to answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and are ready to use when needed.
  • Working with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, to complete jobs that require multiple areas of expertise.
  • Keeping accurate records of time and materials used for each job to ensure accurate billing and cost estimates.

Requirements:

  • Physical fitness and strength to climb ladders and work on roofs for extended periods of time.
  • Experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of flat roofing systems, including knowledge of roofing materials and techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications related to roofing projects.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to roofing work, including the use of personal protective equipment and fall protection equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members, clients, and contractors.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and at heights.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
