This role plays a vital part in the operations of the YMCA of Central Stark County, a prominent nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing community well-being through youth development, health initiatives, and social responsibility. The Front Desk Representative is responsible for delivering outstanding service to all members, guests, and program participants, while addressing their needs effectively.


COMPENSATION:

$11.10/hour based on experience


WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Flexible weekday and weekend shifts available
  • Minimum of 2 weekday shifts required along with weekend availability
  • Approximately 15-20 hours of work per week.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Enthusiasm for welcoming, connecting, and engaging with individuals.
  • Strong listening skills with the capacity to empathize and resolve issues.
  • Able to effectively relate to diverse groups of individuals.
  • Prior experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver exceptional service to members, guests, and program participants, fostering member engagement.
  • Address and resolve inquiries and concerns.
  • Promote and sell memberships and programs offered by the YMCA.
  • Establish relationships and assist in connecting community members to the YMCA.
