Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Support Specialist to join our team at KCD, Inc. As a key member of our design team, you will provide critical support to our Technical Design Director and Technical Design Team in delivering high-quality design solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver design support on assigned projects, including renders, floor plans, drawings, and mockups.
  • Design creative decks and presentations, including image formatting, mood boards, and reference imagery sourcing.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, adhering to and iterating from established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to communicate design intent and vision.
  • Produce detailed print files and print mechanicals for efficient vendor communication.

Requirements

  • Ability to navigate and deliver design deliverables from ideation through execution.
  • Recent graduate or entry-level experience in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Set Design/Scenography, and/or Graphic Design.
  • Proficiency in 3D visualization, visual, and drafting skills, with fluency in AutoCAD and Sketchup preferred.
  • Ability to sketch and draw by hand.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to manage and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to continually learn, expand skill base, and industry knowledge.
